Recently, the O&M Demonstration Center jointly established by DPtech and Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "Provincial Hospital") has been completed and officially opened to the public. Aiming at demonstrating the latest achievements and leading experience in network security applications of first-class hospital, the O&M Demonstration Center, serving as a valuable reference for other hospitals, helps users gain an overall understanding of their pain points and problems in their own business, and proposes effective and pertinent solutions.
Hospital network security construction is always plagued by many challenges. For example, traditional network security construction places stress on data center and network boundary, while paying nearly no attention to the security of the Intranet. Without any positioning and disposal methods, people fail to control ransomware and other security threats initiated by and transmitted through the Intranet. As a result, single points of risk are prone to spread rapidly within their networks. This is evidenced by statistics, which indicates that 91% of ransomware attacks in hospital Intranet are initiated from Intranet itself. What’s more, it is difficult to implement security protection measures in hospitals, given the special characteristics of operating systems and services provided by radiology and other departments. Meanwhile, the interconnectivity construction and the development of Internet + medical and health services are driving forward an open information platform in hospitals. In this regard, DPtech introduces network security solutions for hospitals in order to cope with new types of threats, ensure business continuity, and simplify network operation and maintenance.
The O&M Demonstration Center has currently received its first group of guests from the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Hospital. In addition, the secure devices can be integrated with secure network management platform to provide visualization of Intranet security threats and simplified operation and maintenance.”
